13th September 2004 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Medium waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Shoreham- 4:30-7:30pm. 4.5m sail. After 3 solid days fully powered I have blisters on the soles of my feet as well as cuts on my hands. One smashed knuckle and something in my right foot is feeling a bit cracked! Still, you dont feel the pain until one toe goes the wrong side of the strap coming out of a gybe. ouch. Good session, bigger waves there than Sunday at the same state of tide. Still hard to put together a decent run down the line cos of the wind shadow on the inside. Kept on trying though. Good jumping. At one point about 6pm it went really choppy as well, with doubled up waves and bumps everywhere. Then it seemed to settle down again, not sure what that was all about. |
